The NYPD is Special to Me...

Hello! I'm Retired (01/10/06) Lieutenant Hank Anderson. I worked 20 years with the NYPD (uniform Patrol), starting with the New York City Transit Police in January 1986. I was promoted to Sergeant in 1993. In 1995 the Transit Police Department was merged into the NYPD. I was promoted to Lieutenant in 1998, and in January 2006 I retired. I worked my entire career in Brooklyn and Queens. I worked almost 19 of those years on the midnight shift. I became a Christian prior to becoming a Police Officer, and in the last few years I felt God's calling to Christian Ministry. I am currently in my third year of Seminary. I attend Charity Baptist Bible Institute and Seminary, Dayton, Ohio.
